Do you need to bring in your plates when transferring insurance from one vehicle to another? Only if you are transferring from a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle or vice versa (e.g. from a car plate which has 3 letters and 3 numbers to commercial plate 4 numbers and 2 letters).

Can I put my plates on another vehicle? If you come in and transfer the plates and insurance over to that vehicle, the vehicle must have the same ownership on the registration or you are not able to transfer the insurance and plates over.

Can you buy collision and comprehensive from someone other than ICBC? Yes at Falkins Insurance Group insurance we do have other companies that will provide collision and comprehensive for your vehicle.

Do we get a discount on our insurance if we install a monitored alarm system in our house? Yes you do get a 15% discount for installing and having the burglary and fire alarm monitored.

What do I need to renew my drivers license and how much? You must bring either your renewal notice or your driver’s license and 2 pieces of identification of which one must be your birth certificate or current driver license. The cost is $75.00 or $17.00 for seniors and classes 1,2,3,4 pay additional $28.00 for a medical fee.
