Poster Contest Winners

Autoplan Broker Road Safety Program

For the past several years, Falkins Insurance Group has awarded mountain bicycles and helmets to students at participating elementary schools in the communities of the East Kootenay.  As Autoplan brokers, Falkins Insurance Group contributes to the ICBC  RoadSense Road Safety Programs.  The program is a joint partnership between Autoplan Brokers and The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.

For several years Falkins Insurance has sponsored a poster contest and award a new bicycle and helmet to the student who creates a poster with a great road safety message. Falkins Insurance wants to get our youngest citizens thinking about road safety at an early age, because we know that good habits will carry through as these children become operators of vehicles in a few years.

The imagination, ideas and art work of the children are wonderful and always present a challenge to select winning posters.  The ultimate goal of creating awareness at an early age is to save lives, reduce claims and ensure the lowest insurance rates possible.
