News | Falkins Insurance Sponsors Breakfast at AKBLG Conference

Falkins Insurance Group sponsored the Saturday Morning Hot Buffet breakfast for the Association of Kootenay Boundary Local Governments Conference that was held in Golden on April 27 to 29th.  The AKBLG conference is the major annual local government event in the region, and was attended by more than 200 delegates.   The delegates were kept busy with three full days of workshops, tours and entertainment.  With a panel of guest speakers including the Honorable Gordon Campbell and Leader of the Opposition Carole James. The theme for the conference was creating a sense of Place, a feeling of identity which guides appreciation, respect and even love for the community we call home.
