Falkins Insurance in Fruitvale sponsored a Bike Safety Poster Contest

Falkins Insurance in Fruitvale sponsored a Bike Safety Poster Contest jointly with ICBC on May 30th.  Organized by June Gordon of the Fruitvale office.  Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 at Fruitvale Elementary School participated.  The event was held in conjunction with May Days in Fruitvale, all entries were posted at Falkins Insurance office, members of the public were asked to vote for their choices, and a draw was held for the grand prizes of 2 bikes, one for Primary and one for Intermediate, with  Mr. Rolly Rocette pulling the winning names.  The other 11 winners being awarded with bike helmets and safety reflectors, 2 for each grade level.   Attached is a photo of Sven Michel, winner of the Primary Level bicycle prize, Mark Schreiner was the Intermediate level winner.  Congratulation to all prize winners, and thanks to all that participated.  Falkins and ICBC are partners in promoting Road Safety to the community.
