News | Falkins Insurance Sponsor for upcoming AKBLG Conference

Falkins Insurance Group is sponsoring the Saturday Morning Hot Buffet breakfast for the Association of Kootenay Boundary Local Governments Conference that is being held in Golden on April 27 to 29th.  The AKBLG conference is the major annual local government event in the region, attended by more than 100 locally elected officials, senior staff from 50 municipalities and four regional districts in southeast British Columbia.   The theme for the conference this year is to contemplate examples of community cultural and marketing initiatives, identity and infrastructure building, and other collaborative and non-traditional drivers of development.  Their goal is to show how human relationships, creativity, and civic pride contribute to building a community’s identity, and comfort in its future.
